Butterswim Biscuits

Ingredients
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter
- 2.5 cups all-purpose flour
- 4 tsp baking powder
- 4 tsp white sugar
- 1 tsp salt
- 1.75-2 cups buttermilk
Directions
- Step 1
- Preheat the oven or Blackstone air fryer to 450° degrees or high heat.
- Step 2
- Melt butter
- Step 3
- Add flour, baking powder, sugar, and salt to a bowl. Then slowly add buttermilk and stir until combined.
- Step 4
- Put the mixture in the dish you intend to serve with you want something close to 64 sq inches of surface area. (8×8, 5×12 and 6×10 etc)
- Step 5
- Then pour melted butter over the mixture and spread the melted butter evenly across the top. Optional: leave it whole or use a scraper or knife to cut dough into 6 or 9 equal pieces. (This will make traditional-size biscuits you can make for smaller sandwiches of biscuits and gravy)
- Step 6
- Cook for 20-25 minutes until top begins to brown (optional – melt cheese on top the last mins of baking)
