Ingredients
- 1 Cup White Sugar
- 3 Tbsp Water
- 1/8 - 1/4 Cup Melted Butter (Optional)
Directions
- Step 1
- Put all ingredients in non stick pan on griddle with high heat to get the ingredients melted down and simmering
- Step 2
- Move over to medium heat once it has started to boil/simmer. Don’t mix around just move it around with the pan handle to “mix”
- Step 3
- Once the it cooks for 5-10 mins you will see the sugar mixture to a light brown. Then pull from griddle and allow to start cooling.
- Step 4
- With the back of a (lightly oiled) metal ladle you can take a fork and get the spun sugar on it and drizzle over the spoon in crossing motions till you get the desired shape and look you want.
- Step 5
- Set aside and leave to cool then remove from spoon. You can also make this same concept by just pouring and drinking on a piece of parchment paper.
- Step 6
- You can get creative and used other things just make sure they are silicone, metal, or something with parchment paper wrapped on it.
