Hawaiian Mac Salad Recipe

Ingredients
- 1 pound of large elbow macaroni (cooked al dente)
- 2 carrots shredded (with a large cheese grater)
- 1/4-1/3 cup Videla sweet yellow onions (shredded with a large cheese grater)
- 2.5 cups mayo
- 1/4-1/3 cup milk
- 2-2.5 tsp sugar
- 2-2.5 tbsp apple cider vinegar
- a pinch of salt and pepper to taste
Directions
- Step 1
- Cook noodles to al dente and drain.
- Step 2
- Shred onions and carrots.
- Step 3
- Mix the al dente (cooled) noodles with the shredded carrots and onion in a bowl.
- Step 4
- In a separate bowl mix mayo, milk, sugar, salt, pepper, and ACV until it’s thoroughly mixed. This will make the sauce.
- Step 5
- Pour the sauce in with the mixed noodles and veggies.
- Step 6
- Then fold till mixed completely. Taste it. Add more salt and pepper as needed.
- Step 7
- Make it the day before you plan to serve if possible but at a minimum, you will want to put it in the refrigerator to chill for a few hours.

- Before serving you will want to check to see if you need to stir up the noodles and sauce that may have settled to the bottom. Or you may find you need to make up some extra sauce to add in as needed.

- Though this recipe tastes amazing on day one. I highly recommend serving on day two and drizzling some sriracha over the plated noodles.
